The collection was inspired by 2 clashing conceptual sources that Charlotte studied during her MA at IM Florence: The first and main source of inspiration was a subculture from Botswana called 'The Renegades' mixing cowboy and metal cultures, beautifully documented by Frank Marshall.
To give an unexpected twist to the concept, the designer added elements from surrealism by exaggerating the hands and figurative facial elements that are found in typical metal art such as Bonethrower. The hands play a big role and hint on the hand-made of the overall collection.
All the pieces are hand-painted, the patchwork is made by hand machine embroidery, and the jewellery is hand made with love in Florence.

This collection was created in collaboration with Isko Denim, a sustainable denim supplier.
The campaign photos were shot by Sami Oliver Nakari with styling credits going to Roberta Beschi and MUA by Milena Frau.
